Obama Listens to the People's Voices

When our great nation was formed it was pledged to be a government "of the people, by the people, and for the people". The interpretation of those words were lost somehow over two hundred years of history.

It is a time to re-examine the true intentions of the people who founded this nation of America and to ponder those intentions. Taking it a step further, it is time to reassess the values then and now. Perhaps we can learn together how to restore a balance of freedom, justice, dignity, ernest values, and free enterprise - all precepts that made this nation the grand republic that it was intended to be.

As I watch President Elect Barack Obama institute some remarkably old fashioned principles into the governing system, I sit back and smile. I am partially in disbelief that this "change" is actually taking place in my time. Then I realize that it is really taking place and I embrace the moment.

Accept Barack Obama's invitation to participate in shaping a government where the voices of the people matter once again. The inauguration is only a few days away from an unprecedented historic moment.
