Obamas and Bidens Arrive at the White House

The song "America" is playing on CNN.com as the motorcade transports the President Elect Barack Obama and his wife Michele Obama. As the limo pulls in front of the White House, the Obamas are met with saluting military personnel. Children are singing beautifully in the background as CNN shows Mr. and Mrs. Obama and Mr. and Mrs. Biden arrive at the White House.

Mr. and Mrs. Biden arrived at the White House a few minutes before the Obamas.

9:54 am Eastern Time- President Elect Barack Obama and his wife Michele Obama just arrived at the entrance to the White House. Michele Obama presented First Lady Laura Bush with a gift as she stood to greet the Obama's next to her husband, President George W. Bush. They exchanged handshakes and greetings and kissed each other on the cheeks.

President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura are having the traditional coffee hour with President Elect Barack Obama and his wife Michele.

Update: 10:30 am Eastern Time: Barack and Michele Obama are wrapping up their traditional coffee with President George W. Bush and the First Lady Laura. The Obamas will be arriving at the Inaugural site within ten to fifteen minutes, according to CNN.com Live with Facebook.
