Effort to carry on lessons from 100 days ago (Article)!

New York. As President Barack Obama marks 100 days in office, local community organizers are trying to bottle the energy created during his campaign.
Jeanne Heifetz, of BROOKLYN FOR BARACK, is holding a June event to help the borough through the recession and bringing back campaign workers to run it.
"You have a lot of people who built up new skill sets," said Simeon Banister, who ran call centers in Brooklyn.
Artemio Guerra, at the Fifth Avenue Committee, a Brooklyn nonprofit, said his youth leaders -- high school age Latinos -- are "more willing to speak their minds" since Obama was elected. Metro/AZ (Article from the Metro daily Newspaper, Wednesday, April 29, 2009).
